Social networking sites are very popular amongst most internet users. They can be used just to keep in touch with friends, run a business, and maybe for educational purposes. These networking sites makes it easier for people to stay in touch with their friends because they are kept up to date with their friends latest information. Whatever updates are made by users will be shown in their circle of friends’ latest information area.

In mashable.com there is a list of 350+ popular social networking sites sorted by category, which is business, friends, college, music, and some more. Of course there are more than 350 social networking sites all around, but these are just the ones which are considered ‘most common’ for people. Popular sites like myspace and facebook are on the list.

Most of these social networking sites are used for a short period of time, possibly because there aren’t many members and the site is just not interesting enough to make them stay longer. There are too many networking sites on the net, and people wouldn’t want to sign up for all of them. So they have to choose, and sometimes a site is better than others.

This post about several types of networking sites really is useful. Especially you give some pictures (logo) which makes it interesting and the reader would feel less bored. well done
